My name is Jakub Šmída and I run Restaurant Lumiére, a family-run business that carries on the tradition of authentic Czech cuisine. I believe that good food comes from care, time and quality ingredients — and that is precisely the foundation of every dish that leaves our kitchen.

On our menu, I combine much-loved classic recipes with original dishes, created out of a respect for seasonal ingredients and a desire to experiment. Every week I prepare new combinations so that our guests are happy to return for fresh culinary experiences. We offer light starters, hearty main courses and desserts that delight both the eye and the palate.

I devote the same care to the drinks menu. I’ve selected wines, craft spirits, original cocktails and non-alcoholic specialities that complement the flavours of our dishes. I’d be happy to recommend a drink that pairs perfectly with your choice — whether you’re coming for lunch, an evening get-together or a celebratory dinner.
